PSL (2024) Fixtures and Schedule

Pakistan’s favorite cricket league (PSL) will be starting from 13^th of February 2024. Opening ceremony and 1^st match will be hosted at Multan. This mega event ends on 19^th of March in Lahore. Fans are getting excited and ready to support their favorite team. Great news for PSL fans; PCB has decided that all the PSL matches will be held in Pakistan. They announced that the matches will be played across four venues; LAHORE, KARACHI, RAWALPINDI, MULTAN. Stay tuned for latest updates of this exciting event.

Fixtures:

Pakistan Cricket Board has officially announced that the 9^th edition of PSL will be host in Multan for the second time. Six teams will be in action on 4 venues. All teams will play 34 matches against each other. Matches will be starts at 7:00 Pm. Lahore will be hosting all the playoffs and the Grand Final which takes place on 19^th of March. Before the match, a wonderful closing ceremony will be also held. Official schedule of all fixtures will be updated soon.

Playoffs:

The playoff matches officially held after the completion of the all-league matches between all six teams on entire venues .Top four teams will qualifies for Playoffs. 1^st place team play against 2^nd place team and 3^rd place team plays against 4^th place team. 1^st and 2^nd place team have a chance to play 2^nd playoff match with the winner of 3^rd and 4^th place match.

DRAFTS:

Four hundred and eighty five international players from 22 nations have registered for HBL PSL draft 2024 to take place 13 December at the National Cricket Academy Lahore. The maximum number of players from foreign country are from England (158) .The next on list from West Indies (58). The foreign rooster for the draft is boosted by the presence of David Malan and Reeza Hendricks both featured in top 10 of the ICC men’s t20 players ranking for betters.

EMERGING PLAYERS:

This is one of the best initiative took by PSL management to introduce young talent and provides a chance to polish their skills and gives them opportunity to play with international player. Each team have slot to pick two emerging player. In PSL 2024 Islamabad United picks Husnain Shah & Ubaid Shah, both are younger brother of Pakistani star bowler Naseem Shah. Karachi Kings picks Sirajudin & M. Irfan Khan. Quetta Gladiators pick Adil Naz & khwaja Nafeey. Lahore Qalander picks Jahandad Khan & Sayed Fariduon. Peshawar Zalmi pick Haseebullah Khan & M Zeshan and the Multan Sultan Picks Faisal Akram & Yasir Khan.
