Pakistan’s Star batter Babar Azam once again fails to wins fans expectations as his fans thinks that he could make comeback in the series against Australia. 29-year-old didn’t play any remarkable performance with bat in all three matches. He didn’t score a single fifty in 6 innings. However, People expected something extra ordinary from him. His highest score is 41 in the whole innings which he scored in 2nd test match.
1st Test Match:
While chasing a target of 487 in 1st innings, Pakistani team scores 271 runs. Babar Azam just played below the expectations of the fans and he only scored 21 runs. Only Imam Ul Haq scores a fifty. In the 2nd innings while chasing down a massive target, Whole Pakistani team just bowled out on 89 and Babar scores only 14 runs.
2nd Test Match:
The away team also struggles in 2nd test match as they got out on 264 in the target of 318 in 1st innings. Babar can’t get into double figure and gone only at 1. In the 2nd innings, Skipper shows bit resistance and scores 41 runs but couldn’t takes his team to the victory. Although the target was chasable.
3rd Test Match:
Babar continues to fails in the 3rd test in a row as he scores 26 & 23 respectively in both innings. It was the last test match for him of the series and the Pakistani team is still struggling. Match is still continues, tomorrow will be the last day of the test match and the away team is 82 ahead of Aussies as Pak are on 68/7 on the end of day 4.
Babar Azam’s poor form just continues from year or more. In the recent World Cup 2023, his failed to play any outstanding innings through out the tournament. He was the captain of Pakistan team. Although he scores 4 fifties but he didn’t score any valuable innings which help Pakistan to won any match and Pakistan was knocked out in group stage. People also criticized his performance and captaincy. As a result, he leaves the captaincy of Pakistani team.
