Rinku Singh is an Indian international cricketer born on 12 October 1997. He is left handed batter. His role in team is middle order batter, and also a part time right hand off break bowler. Singh plays for Uttar Pradesh and for Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL. Left hander played for India for first time in August 2023 and made his debut against Ireland in that series. Rinku belongs to a poor family. His father is in LPG employee.

Domestic & IPL Carrier:
Rinku Singh represent Uttar Pradesh at under 16, under 19 and under 23. He also played for central zone at under 19. In his List debut for Uttar Pradesh he was top scorer in the match with 83 runs. He was only 16-year-old at that stage. He made his first class debut in 2016-17 in Ranji trophy. Left hander was leading run scorer in group stage of Ranji trophy 2018-19, with 803 in nine matches. He ended up the tournament 953 runs in all ten matches.
Rinku was bought by King xi Punjab in 2017 IPL season. In the next season of IPL Kolkata Knight Rider in 2018. Singh was due to play for KKR in 2021 season but ruled out by knee injury. In February 2022, he was retained by KKR and played IPL form them. He earned man of the match award by scoring 42 in 23 balls against Rajasthan Royals. In April 2023, Rinku achieved a record breaking feat in IPL match scoring five sixes in final over to successfully chase against Gujrat Titans. Chased 29 runs in final over is highest chase in tournament history.
International Carrier:
In August 2023, Rinku was picked for the national team of India. He made his debut in t20 international against Ireland at The Village. He clocked quick 38 runs in the next game. Rinku scored 22 runs against Australia in first match of the series. In November 2023, he was part of Indian squad for their tour 2023-24 tour of South Africa. Rinku made his ODI international against South Africa on December 19 2023 and Scored 17 runs and took one important wicket. Left hander played a match winning knock against South Africa in second ODI match.
On 17 January against Afghanistan, Rinku and Rohit Sharma made India’s highest run partnership in t20 stitched 190 runs, and which was highest run partnership for 5th wicket in the world. Rinku is one of those incredible talent to be backed by KKR and now he is proving to the world.
